About Our Name:

STRAMAL is a secular organization whose name is derived from two religious spirits:

* St. Rita is the female "partner" to St. Jude, the Patron Saint of the Impossible. Danny Thomas, when he was out of work, prayed to St. Jude to intercede with God, and promised to build a shrine to St. Jude when he became successful. St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital thrives. St. Rita is also an intermediary with God to help make the impossible, possible.

* Archangel Metatron is the tallest angel in Heaven, and Keeper of the Book of Life. He is also called The Dreamer, the archangel of Creativity, and who once walked with God on this earth. He is the only angel to have once been human. He is always seen with a quill in his hand.

We honor both St. Rita and Archangel Metatron, and, though our company has no religious affiliation, we want them on our side, and ask that they be our advocates to bring STRAMAL to great success, and that we continue to assist, inspire and encourage creative kids, and further, to help us to donate from STRAMAL to other charities that enhance the human and animal spirit.
